Hot.Hot.Hot. The desert was holding nothing back Thursday as the diamondbacks made the two hour bus ride to Mesquite, Nevada to play the 3A league champions Virgin Valley High School. Once the game began, D.O. quickly took control of the game striking shot after shot. It wasn't till the twentieth minute when Jarom Stuart entered from the bench and with his first touch buried the ball into the side net.
Starting the second half with a 1-0 lead, Desert Oasis didn't let Virgin valley gain an inch. Stuart buried two more goal and Michael Piererra put the final nail in the coffin with his first ever varsity goal.
Adam Eslinger recorded the first shutout of the season. Assists came from Strahinja Pavlovic, Jordan Kelly, Jonathan Galvez, and Brayan Gurolla.
