Today was the first day of summer intramurals for the DO soccer team. At 9:00, thirty-five students arrived with water bottles, cleats, and hopes of being the next Hercules Gomez.
After playing several five minute games of 11 vs 11, it became obvious that the fifteen freshman that made their debut were not to be taken lightly. By the time we began conditioning at 10:45, there was no doubt that the ninth grade class had earned the respect of the seniors.
But the big question remains, can any members of the class of 2014 earn a spot on the varsity squad?
