First Games

Way to go D-backs. Both the varsity and JV teams won their games this morning against visiting Meadows High School.

Two goals were scored by Jarom Staurt who recently moved to Nevada from Utah. Jorge Montalvo scored the first goal twenty minutes into the first half. Adam Eslinger in goal recorded four saves and the varsity team its first shutout.

The Junior Varsity team went into second half with a 3-0 lead. Second half Meadows scored two goals in the first four minutes of the second half. Desert Oasis would score a fourth goal late into the half to secure the teams first win ever.

Both teams are looking for a few more players. Hopefully the first week of school will bring in some students who were unaware of try outs.
