Year End Banquet on November 10 (Potluck Style)

Lets get ready to par-tay. That's right families another year under the belt. Seven seniors will close this chapter in their lives while thirty-three others will continue to build memories. Join us on November 10 in the DOHS cafeteria at 6:00pm for dinner, awards, and last chance photo opportunities. Please read and fill out the form below.

Numbers and Food

Well the numbers don't lie. It looks like Playoffs this season are off the table. This means that our final game will be the Western match next Thursday (10/28). This is also the second annual Senior Game. All parents of seniors need to attend this game.

Secondly, the end of season awards ceremony needs to be scheduled. I am planning on having it the second week of November. If any parents want to head or be on a committee to organize a banquet please see me this week, email me, or call my cell (your sons have my number). If no parents want to head up the ceremony, the default plan will be a pizza and karaoke party in my classroom after school.

New Website

There is a new website created by CBS Sports that allows statistics about teams and players be viewed by everyone in the country. Find Desert Oasis High School at the website and check out the different things that can be printed. Also fans can upload photos.

Man of the Match vs Clark 9.20.10

Goalkeeper Adam Eslinger had several saves that caused the D-backs of Desert Oasis not to lose yesterdays game. That's right folks the game ended in a 1-1 tie. No cheers or celebration after this game from either side but the D-backs left the field with their heads held high and waiting for another chance at the Chargers.

Man of the Match vs Boulder City 9.14.2010

The man of the match was given to sweeper, Daniel Eslinger, who was able to shut down two top scorers from B.C. Midway through the first half B.C. shot a ball past goalkeeper Adam Eslinger and was rolling into the goal. Daniel Eslinger chases down the ball and cleared it would of play. A huge save for the D-backs. Two goals would be scored in the second half by Strahinja Pavlovic and Jarom Stuart giving the D-backs a 2-0 win.
